AWS Security Architect
About The Position
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AWS Security Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of AWS architecture and services, as well as a strong background in cybersecurity. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing secure AWS infrastructure for our clients, as well as ensuring that our own internal systems are secure.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement secure AWS infrastructure for our clients, including VPCs, subnets, security groups, IAM roles and policies, and more.
- Evaluate client requirements and design custom security solutions that meet their needs.
- Perform security assessments and audits of client AWS environments to identify and address vulnerabilities.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data.
- Develop and implement incident response plans, including documentation and training for incident response teams.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest threats and vulnerabilities in the AWS ecosystem and adjust security practices as necessary.
- Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and management to ensure that security requirements are understood and implemented.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of experience designing and implementing secure AWS infrastructure.
- Deep understanding of AWS services, including EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and more.
- Strong background in cybersecurity, including knowledge of common threats and vulnerabilities, and experience with security tools such as IDS/IPS, SIEM, and vulnerability scanners.
- Experience with security compliance frameworks such as NIST, PCI-DSS, HIPAA, and SOC 2.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified Security - Specialty are a plus.

$100,000 - $150,000 + benefits + 401K + PTO + Professional Development + Other
